Want to crochet a kit of didactic amigurumi fruits, all in a beautiful basket? With this DIY Crochet Kit, you are all set to go!
The Amigurumi fruits kit was designed as a didactic set, to learn about the different
fruits, and to play pretend. It’s inspired by Montessori educational values, which emphasise natural materials more than plastic.
Designed by Luísa Caldeira Cabral (alanjahandmade) from Companhia das Agulhas, Portugal. The kit has 11 different fruit patterns and a basket to store them. Each fruit is made individually and constructed by crocheting different parts which are later sewn together. The basket is created from the bottom to the top, with a centred double crochet stitch, which gives the basket more structure to maintain its shape.
You can customise your kit by including only the yarn for the fruit projects, or by adding the necessary crochet hook and yarn to crochet the basket.
