Powell Peralta Welinder Freestyle 7.25" x 27". Originaly released in 1984. Very limited reissue edition. The Welinder Freestyle is an old school skateboard focused on flat freestyle. Single kick deck with no concave. Wheelbase 11.5". Made in the USA at Powell's own skateboard manufacturing factory in Santa Barbara, CA using U.S. hard rock maple, AirLam fused with Type 1 glue. Warranted against delamination for Its useful life. Artwork by VC Johnson. Recommanded using trucks size: 109mm. Black Jessup Griptape offered (installation on request)

The Per Welinder Viking Skull was illustrated by V.C. Johnson in 1984. The fanged fantasy graphic was meant to reflect Per's Swedish origins. It was initially assigned to his freestyle model without the rock texture background, which was added in an updated version in 1986. In 1987 the new full-length graphic was adapted for a street model as Per began performing freestyle / street demos.

The Rodriguez Skull & Sword deck was the first pro signature deck graphic produced by Powell-Peralta. The graphic was conceived by Ray and Illustrated by V.C. Johnson with art direction from George Powell in 1979. Initially released in two distinctly different shapes; a 10 x 30 Widetail version and a 10 x 28.5 Snub Nose,” it came in Brite-Lite Dayglo yellow, orange, purple and green. In years to follow, it was made in various different colors and a Powell-Peralta logo was added.
